I've done it before, a million times, but now my software is expired and I can't find a free app that I can download for my wav to mp3 files so that they are compatible with my lovely newly created redlight and speed camera POI's (thanks to all of you on that forum post).
Anyone have a program suggestion? Quick, Free, Easy?

Windows audio converter
If you have Windows Audio Converter, it's a matter of right-clicking the file name and select "Convert Audio Format."

Thank you
I knew it was simple enough.
I don't know where my windows Audio converter went to, but both of these are feasible to find.
Thank you again,

Try CDex does more then just convert.
Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong.

What about ACC?
I had a program on my old system that allowed for conversion of ACC to MP3 and wav, when the system died it went with it. Does anyone have recommendations? Frankly, I found the one I was using cumbersome.
Nuvi 680, Magellan 300
File Conversion
I have used Audacity which has a lot of features but Switch from NCH.com is a simpler free converter that just converts files.

Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.
