Google Maps switches to Tele Atlas ??

I noticed today that the copyright notice at the bottom of the Google Maps page doesn't read NavTeq it reads Tele Atlas.

Interesting

So it does.

I've been scratching my head because even when Google Maps said NavTeq, Google Earth said Tele Atlas. And both used the same satellite photos.

Tele Atlas Google maps appear to be more up to date then NavTeq!

I noticed that also a few days ago when the subdivision I live in and the one next to it that were built 7-10 years ago now show up on Google maps. Neither of them show yet on the NavTeq 2009 NA maps.
