Setting POI Alerts

I update my POIs about every 2 weeks. I have been using the manual mode to set the distance for POI alerts. This is areal pain. I have read the thread on how to set alerts but it doesn't make sense to me. Can I put one of the names mentioned in the file title along with a number so that I don't have to set alerts manually every time? I think that at 66 years my understanding of how computers work gets harder and harder.

Thanks
Win

A number in the csv file name will produce an alert at that speed, but the manual mode will over-ride it. If you put an @ with a number in each line of the file, it will not be over-ridden by the manual mode.

From Garmin's 'Loader', Speed information included in the name of the individual Custom POI. For example, a POI named "SpeedZone@30" will have an alert speed of 30 regardless of the speed information specified in Manual mode or in the file name.
