Is their an easy way to see if Other people's pois are close to mine? I have created a couple of them, but am unsure of posting them. example: I have a file for campgrounds, and stateparks, but would hate to duplicate someone else's.

I don't mind the credit, I

I don't mind the credit, I just want to contribute to this site, and would hate to be redundant,or even upset someone by not following rules.

I have been looking for software, and noticed that some on this site are able to locate duplicate sites, in the same file, is there one that will compare across files? Is there an eval period with some of the files such as POI Verifier?

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Do I send my file to you, or just post it on the site somewhere?

Is there a reccommendation as to how many pois in a file? What is too many?

Keith,

If you are talking about CSV files, then one way is to simply cut and paste one CSV file into the other, save it as an alternative name, eg "POI File Combined", then Run POI Verifier or whatever software you are going to use on this larger combined file.
