Nuvi 350 Content Storage Device

Simple question, which I can't seem to find the answer too. Does the Nuvi 350 have a small hard drive or use flash memory for content storage? Thanks!

Flash memory

Actual hard drive technology in the size needed for Nuvis would make them cost prohibitive.

Memory Drive

Hi Keith, I agree but they do have 4GHz compact flash drives for digital cameras, very small, and a lot of the navigational GPS usits have 10 or 20 gig hard-drives. When I look at it with the computer it shows a FAT 32 etc. like a drive. Actually hope it's a memory chip and no so prone to failure.

I read somewhere, some mag review,that it is a small hard drive.

Nuvis are flash memory

The Owner's Manual Tech specs says, "Data Storage: Internal memory and optional Removable SD card. Data stored indefinitely."
