Show only Specific POIs

Hi,
Just got a garmin nuvi 200. Still trying to get used to it.
I was wondering if there is a way to show only a certain category of POIs on the map. I've searching for hours, but haven't found how to set this up.
I am mostly interested in showing gas stations ONLY. I could care less about the other 5.9 million POIs during my daily commute.
The default settings has just way too many POIs on the screen to get anything out of it while driving!!

Wow, my Magellan can display certain categories (gas, banks etc.) and you can uncheck the rest to minimize the screen clutter. That really surprises me...

Yep. You can't pick and choose which are displayed.
can you load poi from the sd card?
Just an idea . . .
Can you load poi from the sd card? Because if you can, then maybe you can load all of your poi that you are not interested in on your way to work on the card. Only load the ones you want to see on the commute on the unit. Then don't use the sd card during your commute.
you can always pop the card in if you want the other poi.
Does that make sense?
Mind you, I haven't tried this. Someone else will know if it'll work . . .

Yep, it will work for the all but the SP 3xx line.
A few users use this method to keep their POI collections separate.

So, I can move the factory POI categories to an SD card? Because those are the one's that I don't want.

I don't believe you can selectively move the factory POI's to the SD card. I think you need to move all of the maps to the SD card and that would defeat the purpose.

Yes, you cannot move the built in POIs anywhere.
You can choose to load some of the Custom POIs to the unit and then load others to the SD card. Removing the SD card from the GPS unit will remove those Custom POIs not to show up on the unit.
