accessing POI files

Hello, I'm new at this POI thing. I downloaded a POI file on my Nuvi 350 using the POI loader. There was a dialog box congratulating me on the success of the download to the Garmin. However, I can't find the file. The manual says that it should be under "my locations", but it's not there. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

can't find poi file

Sometimes i have to stop and

Sometimes i have to stop and think about how to access the custom poi's myself.

poi's

why every time i load a new poi it over rides the one already there ?? and i loose the old one?

.

Yes, that's how it works. Put ALL the Custom POIs you want to load into a folder on your computer and keep them there. Then just load all of them each time.

Does 350 have Extras?

I was trying to show a friend how to put POI's on and he looked at my 660 and said he didn't have Extras. He got his and sure enough I didn't see Extras on it either. It's a year old. Did I miss something? That's the first 350 I've seen.

My 360 doesn't have Extras. Custom POIs are under My Locations.
Where to >> My Locations >> Custom POIs
