Planning trips on nuvi 2x5

Hi
I would normally apologize for not RTFM, but the 2x5 series has no FM. So I ask.

My map is normally centered on Manhattan, but I want to plan some walks in Paris for a trip next week (I have the European card installed). Yup, I can zoom out a lot, scroll the map over to France, find Paris and make someplace my location. But I have the apt I am staying in as a favorite. Is there some easy way to plan trips in paris starting from that favorite. I am sure there is but I cannot quite figure it out. And I am sure I could do on my 370, but the interface is different (and the 370 is lost!).

I did a search but did not find anything obvious, and the 2x5 interface is a bit more simpleminded than the 3xx and higher machines (no idea if 2x5 differs from 2xx).

TIA

Try Simulator Mode

Hello Nathbeck,
Put your GPS in Simulator Mode first, go to Favorites and select your Apt, select Show Map and Set Location.

Your GPS will think it's in Paris now so when you select the Points of Interests you can't see what's near your apt.

Thanks

Perfecto. I think I forgot to turn the simulator on, bad habit from 370 where simulator was on until one flipped open the antenna.

thanks again
