That was a great article.

I am surprised after reading this article that the driver, Necdet Bakimci had intelligence enough to keep the large rig on the road, or to stop before he drove into the ocean at Gibraltar.

Maybe he just kept hitting the "avoid" key on his GPS.

Dispatch

I would think that if it was sat-nav that dispatch would would see he was off course and try and contact him about it...of course he may not have a cell phone or it may not be turned on or work in that country.

I wonder if he will be driving after getting home...
