POI'S

Hi,
I hope somebody can help me with this...I live in Alberta, Canada and have a Garmin Nuvi 250 which I just purchased.
I was in Lethbridge, Alberta and wanted to go to Costco, so I searched for it under Points of Interest, spell name, and the nearest one preloaded was in the USA.
I came home, used POI Loader, found a file for all the Costco's in the USA and Canada, and loaded it.
Then I searched again for Costco under Points of Interest, and again only found 4 in the USA.
I can only find the Lethbridge Costco if I search under the Extra's button and Custom POI's.
My question is, is there any way to combine the Custom POI's that I download and the preloaded by Garmin POI's so that one search under Points of Interest will find data from either spot?
Hope this makes sense,
Thanks!
The Built-in POIs
The Built-in POIs and the Custom POIs are 100% independent. They only way to combine would be to get the location of the built-in POI and add it to your Custom POI file in either csv or gpx format.
You cannot add anything to the built-in POIs.

No they are both listed in
No they are both listed in different locations.Best thing to do is make a custom poi file of all the locations and download to your gps. Most likely it will be more up to date then the internal pois.

Built-in and custom POI's
Despite I trust Garmin products as compared to others in the market, I do not like the rigidity of using them. It is little inconvenient to check both built-in and custom POI's while one search should do the job. Hopefully Garmin will realize it soon and release a firmware update to fix it. Having said that, I still love my Garmin and will live with this small inconvenience.
