Garmin nuvi 660

Would like to find out if there is any update for nuvi 660. The last update was in May 2008. Someone told me that Garmin is dropping nuvi 660. Does that means that there will be no more update for my nuvi 660? I bought mine back in December 2007..not even 1 year..no map update..Garmin's dropping it..What the hell?

IF they quit making it dont

IF they quit making it dont mean that they wont support it, they will, I asked them that question a while back and like the c530 it is a discontinued product but they still support it, dont worry, They will update it when necessary and all you have to do is do the webupdater and wallllla. if its there it will update automatically.

Firmware update July 1...

The latest firmware update for the 660 (and for most of the 6xx family) came up early July (version 4.50).

When you see notes of an update on other (similar) models, it's usually worthwhile having the Garmin Web Updater take a look at yours.
