computer folder....

POI Verification
Ok, say I downloaded the Redlight Camera POI, however, I am not sure how to test it. Is there a way to verify that it works short of actually driving to one of the locations?

Ok, say I downloaded the Redlight Camera POI, however, I am not sure how to test it. Is there a way to verify that it works short of actually driving to one of the locations?
Go into your settings and turn on simulation. Then tap on the map, drag the screen to where you can see one of the redlight locations. Touch the screen where you want to set your location (just outside the alert distance), and hit the button to "Set location". Then pick a spot BEYOND the redlight and ask to be routed to it -- right through the redlight. Do not route yourself TO the redlight.
Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.
