Very nice page, maybe I'm blind but I could not find how to add more maps, I race off road and know that the race organizer and other put Garmin files to upload to some GPS's. I was wondering if that kind of information was on your site?

Thank you.

Typically, maps are proprietary to the manufacturer. The maps you load must be either made by the manufacturer or to the manufacturers specification. Other maps will not work.

My guess is that the race organizers have put out files containing tracks and/or perhaps routes. If this is the case, those can't be loaded to the nuvi 2xx units directly.

If they are a series of waypoints in GPX format, you could load the series of waypoints to the unit using MapSource or EasyGPS. Or as Custom POIs.

Otherwise, if they are in fact Garmin compatible maps, you would need MapSource or SendMap20 to send the maps to the unit as supplemental maps.

Check out this site for lots of GPS information.
