Question For John & Miss Poi (SP 2610)

smile John Or Miss Poi if I open Mapsource Up and go to View find position and put in long. & Lat. then make a waypoint and then save that waypoint as a .GPX would I be Able To Send That file To The Garmin Street Pilot 2610

You can use MapSource to transfer locations to the 2610 as waypoints. These locations will behave the same as locations you've saved on the GPS using the "mark" feature.

StreetPilot 2610 doesn't support custom points of interest, so it will not work with POI Loader.

Is that the difference between a 2610 and a 2620? I had the 2620 and I was able to upload POI.
