Displaying POI's on a Map on a PC

What is the quickest/easiest way to display a file of POI's on a map on a PC? For areas that I'm not familiar with I'd like to see a map of the POI's.

That would depend on what you have on your pc. If you have a mapping program like MS Streets & Trips you can import the poi's into it and then they will show where they are. Others can tell you how to do it with mapsourse

You can Use Mapsource

Mapsource came with a lot of older Garmin GPS map CDs. Some owners of the Nuvi units have reported success in getting Garmin to send a copy free when the owners told Garmin support the software was needed to backup favorites.

Once you have Mapsource installed, you can use the software to open any POI file that is in GPX format and the POIs will be displayed.

If your POIs are in CSV format, convert them to GPX with this simple, easy to use free utility: http://dr5274.googlepages.com/POIConverter

Thanks

I have S&T and Mapsource and will try both options.
