CVS vs GPX w/ Garmin 200

Can this model of garmin use both GPX and CVS? I am having trouble with the CVS. Help Please!!

Yes, but please note that it is CSV. CVS is a drug store, not a file type.

Yes you can use both gpx or csv files on the Garmin it will be up to you.See this node http://www.poi-factory.com/node/6203 .

Not sure what problems you are having with the csv but describe the problem and we will help you out.

Strictly speaking, no.

The Nüvi can read .gpx files, which it turns into Favourites - or .GPI files which it displays as Custom POIs.

POILoader, which creates the .GPI files can use either .CSV or .GPX input. (So indirectly, you can get both sorts of files onto the Nüvi)

csv format

just make sure your csv file has data in format of Latitude, Longitude, Description!

.csv file format should be

longitude ,latitude,description,details
