Nuvi 260W Newbie POI Question

I've just purchased a Nuvi 260W. Unfortunately, the manual doesn't provide much information on how to use the unit, so I've been reading this excellent forum.
Question #1: The unit seems to have POI's loaded. For instance, why would you need a 'reststop' or 'Starbucks' POI file? Isn't this information already loaded on the unit?
Question #2: Does anyone know of helpful links on how to use the Nuvi 260w; such as POI's. Any information would help.
It would be great if there was a POI of posted speed limits so I would know if I was speeding. I purchased this unit based on the name and its ability to speak street names. I hope it is good enough to fully utilize these POI's with MP3 sounds. I appreciate any info.

mp3 files on 2xx Garmin
The 2xx series of Garmin do not support mp3's so you cannot get it to play your sounds.

I am a newbie also with a NUVI 200 given to me for Father's Day.
Garmin is deliberate about the brevity of the manual because my unit seems to be intuitive to the utmost.
I have read around most of this site and the information provided is phenomenal. The POIs available to add in are great and will enhance your GPS and those already loaded there.
My suggestion is to take time to read what is here and ask questions on the forum like you have.
To answer your question about Starbucks, I don't think many retailers are loaded at the factory by Garmin. This site has a variety of retailers from Wal-Mart to Sam's and stuff in between.
There is also a great explanation of adding speed limits and security camera features here on the website so look around like I did and you will also find people here are most helpful.
