City Navigator - Selling Older Version

Hello

I was wondering if I am allowed to sell my older version of City Navigator (DVD) on say Ebay or some place like that?

You should check with Garmin

You should check with Garmin first.
If you have a newer version registered with Garmin, I do not see any reason for Garmin to unlock it for the new person.

If it was an upgrade, where the new version was given for free, it might not be possible since Garmin will lock the old serial number.

If it is OK, I recommend selling it in European E-bay, since many Euroean Garmin users might want to download the US map into their Garmin.

I personally purchased a used TomTom software from E-bay and had no problem re-registering it and even purchased an upgraded software.
