poi on nuvi 680

I just last night loaded red light cameras to my 680, and this morning I discovered it shows small Grey dot, but not an icon, and no warning audible massage. I loaded all to gpx file, and rename them the same. Please advise how to fix it.

When you say that you "loaded all to gpx file", does that mean you placed all 3 files (gpx, bmp, and mp3) into the same folder on your computer, with the same name except for the extensions?

The grey dot is the default icon, so the POI did load. Even without the custom audio alert mp3, the default bong should sound, assuming you put "redlight" in the name of the files. Since you say it is a gpx file, that means it is not the file from this site, so there are several potential problems:
1.) The distance of the coordinates from the road cannot be more than 50 ft and I recommend they be in the roadway itself.
2.) You must be traveling on the road in which the POI is placed, and in the direction of the POI for the alert to trigger.
3.) Alerts must be turned on in the settings.

As a first step, I'd recommend re-looking at the spelling and location of the files on the computer, and check for double extensions.
