Cant find the POI when imported with Palm IQUE

I have a garmin Ique and in order to import the data I import into the palm addresses. But there there but I cant "search" and find them.
Correct the Ique cant use anything but address book?
Also will I get a little Icon on my map for things imported?

I have an IQue 3600. It doesn't do user POI's. I can have waypoints in there and the maps have built-in points of interest, but you can't do the user POI's the way you can with the Nuvi's or other newer Garmins that you see on this site.

I've seen hacks elsewhere on the Internet to repalce the voice prompts with custom prompts I wonder if there is a similar hack for POIs
