Garmin Mobile XT POI question

I'm not really new to this whole poi and Garmin thing, but I am new to this Mobile XT. I purchased this mobile XT for my Pocket PC. On garmins website, it says you can use Garmin POI loader to load custom POI's. So.. I downloaded the rest area POI from here, and loaded it with Garmin POI loader. For my settings, I asked it to notify me within 4000 feet. Well, where do I access these POI's? I was browsing my maps on my unit, and I see that the map pack already shows Rest areas on it. These rest areas show even without the POI loaded. So I am assuming whatever map pack you choose, has it's own, and there are custom POI's with the same thing?
How do I access any of the Custom POI's I Load into this unit? Once I do, how do I use them? Where do I put the sound files, or custom picture, etc....

Well I figured out part of
Well I figured out part of my problem by playing around.
When I install the Poi's I download from here, they go into /garmin/poi. But they are all stored together in one file called poi.gpi or something like that. How do I add pictures and sound to this?

If you click on the icons and sounds links at the top of each page and scroll down to the bottom of the page, you will find links to the instructions on how to load Custom icons and sounds with your Custom POIs.
