Updated file on 2/11/2007 eliminating duplicates, correcting errors, and removing potential proximity alert. Please download and then replace original files from January.
This file contains locations for antenna towers of about 1,500 Christian radio stations. This file is the product of three of us: User Bob Ball in Arizona obtained listings of more than 2,000 Christian radio stations, and separately obtained commercial and non-commercial station data including tower coordinates from FCC's database and converted into DD.DDDD format. User Bob Brown in Florida from his GIS background tweaked and verified through spot checks using Google Earth photos. User Maury Kahn in Texas used his Excel knowledge to merge tower coordinates with the station list into a file ready for upload. Users should understand that in the midst of a lot of file manipulation there may be errors, omissions and duplication.
