NUVI 750 HELP

That is where the poi's you download go to. There is only one file when you are downloading using the garmin poi loader. They are put in your Extras folder under custom POI's. When you touch custom POI's it will bring up all the poi's by category that you downloaded.

You do not download each poi separately. I also have a 750.

So you can't add them to the "points of interest" folder? Thanks for the help....Drew

But you veiw them as you stated. If you look in to your units drive while connected to your computer you will see a poi folder, that is where the poi's reside...

I have all that. This is all new and I'm reading everything out there on this. My hopes was to be able to add say "starbucks" icon to the "points of interest" folder and see the icon. From what I read that is not possible (yet). I'll go on adding POI with my loader. Thank you.......Drew

Put the starbuck's icon in the same folder sa the starbucks poi, name it the same as the poi i.e. Starbucks.csv and Starbucks.bmp.when you load the poi you will have the icons...

And on top of that you can also put an mp3 file with the same name i.e. Starbucks.mp3 and it will play when you get near a starbucks and drive you crazy....
