So I've downloaded tons of things from this website and I'm pretty sure that it probably came from here, but I'm not positive. Sometimes randomly my Garmin Nuvi 660 starts beeping every couple seconds and displace a speed alert of 3mph. I haven't set any speed alerts on it and I'm not sure where it came from. One example of where it happens is Route 37 in Toms River, NJ. Any ideas? Thanks

Have you updated the GPS with the latest software from Garmin? I would make sure it was up to date, and I'd also try a hard reset before going any further. After that, I'd contact the Garmin Tech Support.

Dear MM,
Does the File Name have a "3" in it?

And David, I'm not sure if the file name has a three in it. I just noticed that it started the beeping and displaying "Speed Alert - 3 mph". I'll have to check in the poi folder when I get home from work today.

Dear MM,
I set my alerts manually. I understand that if you use the "Express Mode", the speed alerts will trigger based on the digits in the file name.
