How to Update Garmin C340?

Hi all,
Could anyone tell me how to update the C340 with the Garmin City Navigator North America NT 2009 version? When I try to do it it asks me to have a SD card. Can I overwrite(flash) the existing 2008 version on the internal memory? If so, How do it do that?
If I cant? Will the C340 support a 4gb SDHC card?

I was researching on the garmin site and got to know that it does support the SDHC cards once we update the software to v.4.40 or higher...
Kindly let me know if there are any performance issues with a 4Gb card on it???
Now all I need to know, whether the citi navigator 2009 update could internally be flashed(without the need of a SDHC card) or not?

Not sure why it asks you about a sd card.I done the updated 2009 maps for my C340 and it loaded in about 1 1/2 hours using the update disk with no problems.By any chance are you trying to do a full install instead of just the update?This note is listed on Garmin site Note: You cannot use this product to update the maps on your preloaded Garmin device.
