I've been using my new Nuvi for 2 weeks now but no stuttering yet. Is there a certain type of street name that it associated with it such as Dr, Ct, etc?

Occasionally, it could use another half second between words, but never a stutter in 18 months. What voice are you using. Have you tried a different one?
Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.
