Maybe it is like the real tortoise vs the hare race where the turtle falls behind but ends up winning the race at the end?

Turtle Soup

I think the contest is looking a little grim for the turtle. I'm surprised that the slice o pizza is a leader now.

Good luck

hope you win! The ears pointing the direction of travel would be neat!! grin

8% and climbing back up

The turtle is gaining some speed again. He's back up to 8%. He only has 4 more contestants to beat. Maybe with some more members' help, he can catch up and eat the pizza slice for some extra power smile There's only two days left.

Voting for Paul

What the?

The slice of Pizza wins ?????????????

They had only 17% votes last night at 10pm then by 8am this morning it jumps to 28%?? (like 2000 people voted last night?) I didn't see any anchovies on the slice but that seems fishy!

Thanks for all who voted and participated. smile

Sorry you didn't win

Paul,
I am so sorry that your entry didn't win.

Miss POI

Oh Well

Oh well, it was a good try. I'm still surprised that the slice of pizza beat out the wingman and jamster. It seemed like there were no votes for it until late Sat. But 2000 people voted last night pretty much all for the pizza? (18%-28% jump)

Fix

How did a slice of pizza even qualify for participation? Stupid. Is it possible that clearing cookies or going through one of the anonymous surfing proxy servers would allow multiple, perhaps continuous voting?

Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.

Maybe someone created a program to mimic new ip address and then tilted the voting process last minute.

Hey I'm from Chicago (vote early and often).

I don't think having a new

I don't think having a new ip address works. I'm on dsl and every time I connect I get a new ip address. I logged off and logged back into my dsl connect and try to vote again but it would not let me.

Using Vmware did

Using VMWare did work by resetting your session each time you wanted to vote but I just couldent do that.. that is cheating and well Being a admin, i also know that the IP would show up each time on there log and I wouldnt want to disquify anyone by doing that..

Must have been 1 million Pizza Deliverymen voting for that. Or maybe the Garmin Garage folks just picked the easiest one to produce.

I vote easiest one to produce. It never occurred to me about a pizza delivery vehicles icon. Maybe it's a repeat of the Florida re-count voting process redface

Garmin Garage Contest

Hey Paul....
The heck with the Garmin vote. I vote you put the turtle/Rabbit design as your picture here on this site. Remove your car for awhile.
Besides only pizza delivery people will use the pizza design on their GPS. lol

Sorry O

Paul, sorry it did not work out. Those who voted for "pizza" should by now be downloading the pizza and eating it. Certainly, not on my GPSr.

Cardboard Pizza

Paul, I am sorry that I can not download your entry.
The folks at Garmin must have been sitting around eating pizza while waiting for the voting to finish. Hmmm, they had a blue triangle already and all they had to do was change the top, sounds like an easy day at the office.
