Replacement for lost 370

Hi
My wife (who is usually incredibly careful) managed to lose my (our?) Nuvi 370 on a business trip. There are other boards to discuss how she should repay me, but on this board, am curious

a) any ideas on when new Nuvi's are likely to be introduced
b) obviously a good opportunity to upgrade. I need both European and American maps, so need a *70. I like sticking the 370 in my pocket (use it a lot on foot in Europe). Any thoughts on how the 770 feels. Any sense of how real battery life in the 770 and 370 compares, and how the lack of the flip attenna affects performance.

TIA

Neal

Nuvi 255W/European SD card

Try this...

edit:

Battery life is dependent to a great extent on the user. If you listen to music, use the Bluetooth, fm transmitter, all of these features are going to sap into battery life. I know on my phone the battery life drops when I have the Bluetooth enabled. On top of that the battery life is 5 hours on the 770 and 8 hours on the 370. Did you get 8 hours of use on your old 370?

The 770 is also heavier and larger..

I will purchase the sd card....

I have a nuvi 370 and enjoy it a great deal - but my relatives and friends often borrow it for their European trips. I am meticulous in maintaining my equipment in primo condition - sometimes the 370 is returned with smudges and dings. The Europe maps are now a year old, and a newer map is available.

I also have a nuvi 750. For future trips to Europe, my choice is to get a current Europe SD card so I can use it for my trips and pass the nuvi 370 or the SD card to my family and friends for their trips - they can use the SD card in their own GPS unit!
