Washington Wineries

Just returned tonite from Eastern Washington and did some wine tasting. Just thought I would report we tried to find four wineries in Prosser using the new Garmin 2009 maps and the POI files from this website. The wineries showed up but when we got there we found they had moved in 2006. Went to the right address but no wineries by the name.
My main point here is what is going on with new maps and downloaded POI's that are wrong.
Wineries
In listing all the wineries in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, etc. I am not quite able to go to each one daily to update whether they are still there. Sorry for the inconvenience.

No problem....I know you cannot do this and was just asking the question on how they get updated since they moved in 2006...You would think the new 2009 NAVTAQ maps for sure would be correct.

Map Updates
I just spoke with Garmin regarding map updates and was told the maps are 2 to 2 1/2 years behind by the time they get them. Do not know if that is true or not but it seems possible since the wineries moved in 2006 and were not on the 2009 maps. Also some new wineries had opened in 2006 and were not listed.
