Garmin GPS Tricks & Tips .....
I keep re-reading your tips and am always learning something new.
Thanks for all your hard work, instructions and tips.
Thanks so much for your efforts.
I like these tips so much, I tried to turn them into a "manual" - one I could read and re-read on trips when my wife is taking her turn driving. I have been fairly successful, but sometime when I "copy" a page to "paste" it into a Word doc, part of the material looks like musical notes. Is there a way to get the text instead?
Thanks for the updated info, I am going to get some of these and customize my Garmin
Thanks Gary, for the info!!
Yea, there's a WHOLE lot there alright!!!
It's still incredible, thanks!
Your site is the best for finding info on how to best use our Garmins. Thanks for all your time and effort.
Great site - thanks!
Was looking at what files I could delete to make more room on my Nuvi - a common concern. I notice a single Excel file called "mileage" in the reports folder. Seems the 2592 keeps a log of every Garmin route, by recording: date, start time, orig and destination L/L, origin and destination name distance, time, then gets into fuel estimates, and some carbon footprint garbage. Thought it was interesting, was not aware my Garmin was keeping notes.
What an amazing website. Thanks so much.
