Thanks so much for your efforts.

I like these tips so much, I tried to turn them into a "manual" - one I could read and re-read on trips when my wife is taking her turn driving. I have been fairly successful, but sometime when I "copy" a page to "paste" it into a Word doc, part of the material looks like musical notes. Is there a way to get the text instead?

Was looking at what files I could delete to make more room on my Nuvi - a common concern. I notice a single Excel file called "mileage" in the reports folder. Seems the 2592 keeps a log of every Garmin route, by recording: date, start time, orig and destination L/L, origin and destination name distance, time, then gets into fuel estimates, and some carbon footprint garbage. Thought it was interesting, was not aware my Garmin was keeping notes.
