No Sam's Club on Nuvi 780

Help,
Garmin Newbie, I uploaded the Walmart & Sam's Club POI as my Nuvi 780 reported the nearest SamsClub as being 36 miles away when there are at least 10 within that radius according to both GoogleMaps and MSN Live Maps.
I loaded to an SD card then the unit asked if I wanted the custom POIs loaded onto the 780's memory and I said yes. But I don't see any difference at all! No matter how I spell SamsClub it still reports the nearest at 36 miles.
How do I find the custom POIs I've just loaded on this device? Or how do I spell Sam's Club correctly to magic it out of this thing?

The Custom POIs are located on the unit under Where to? > Extras > Custom POIs.
If you look on page 47 of the user manual, it explains this in a little more detail.
The Custom POIs do not show up in the menus with the built in POIs.

I had read that part of the manual but there were no Extras or Proximity Alerts choices available when I looked there. It must have been because I hadn't loaded the first Custom POI's yet when I looked.
The user manual that I downloaded for the 780 is actually a 750 manual and doesn't appear to exactly match the capabilities of the 780. So I thought it was a model number difference. Yes now the Proximity Points choice is there and it was not visible before.
Any idea why I can't find Sam's Clubs in the City Navigator 2009 POI? The stores are at least 9 years old around here (central new jersey) and I can't imagine why they'd be omitted.

See if the Sam's Club addresses are there as Walmarts. I've used the built-in POI's to go to a Walmart and found a Sam's. Since WM owns Sam's, I think NAVTEQ might list some of them as Walmarts.

It did find Ses Americom which turned out to be a splinter group of Reaganites for Obama. I told them I was there just for laughs. So they gave me a quick one:
