Streetpilot and coordinates

I have a c550. Is there a way for it to show me my current location in coordinates? You know, just in case I get lost in the woods and I need to tell the rescue helicopter exactly where I am.

streetpilot models do not show coordinates

You can't do it from the unit itself. However, you transfer your favorites from your GPSr to Mapsource (on your PC) and then you can see the coordinates.

Pack an extra laptop battery

So when you get yourself lost in the woods, make sure you have your laptop and an extra battery (just in case) so you can give the helicopter your coordinates. Then you can sit back, relax, and play solitaire until rescued, or use the gps to guide you back out.
