The other day I uploaded a file on botanical gardens in Wisconsin and got to thinking there might be some interest on making it a nation wide thing. I don't know if the majority would like to have a combined file or keep the states separate. Any interest and ideas?

Welcome to the site. Take a look a the FAQs and the Getting Started sections linked at the top of each page. There's a ton of great information linked there.
Coordinates are the latitude and longitude of a location. The latitude and longitude are numbers that identify where the location is positioned on the planet. The coordinates are necessary for the Custom POI file as they tell the GPS unit where to place the location.

Meerkerk Rhododendron Gardens
Here's a rhododendron garden in a woodland setting. Mothers' day plus/minus a month or so is best but they have plants blooming all year. The drive there is good too.
