setting up model pages

I've started setting up a new section with model pages. We'll use them to organize FAQs, posts, and other model-specific information on the site.

I've started with newer Garmin models that work with POI Loader. Right now, the pages are pretty basic -- almost empty, actually. But I don't think it will take long for us to turn them into something more useful.

We have a lot of good tips/tricks posted in the forms, but they're not always easy for newcomers to find. Links from the model pages will give us another way to find the most interesting information.

Right now, I'm collecting photos (a few models at a time). See the home page for details.

I've got a whole library on the Mio C310x if you want any photos of it. Not sure if you're just aiming for Garmin products or what.

Zumo pics

I took a couple of my Zumo on the motorcycle. They are on the way. Let me know if you want one of it in the car mount also.

GPS Mounting options

Are you planning on showing other mounting ideas? I put my Nuvi 660 where I did since my wife has back problems and can't really reach far. Plus, It's so handy to have it within close reach for doing research for the driver or the passenger.

To be honest, I really don't care about reading specifics of other models. So haven't a page(s) where they only talk about my model would be ideal.

Problem with that ...

That would be good, but I have been noticing that alot of info that is here for other units can be useful your your own. Yes, sometime it is spific but alot of other times it can be helpful.. I like reading all the post, you can learn alot more!

Yeah, you are right. I read all the posts as well. I guess what I was referring to, was if I had a particular issue with the 530 and wanted to find a quick resolution to it.

Garmin c580

This model will also needed to be added to the list to show the POi's on this site are also usable for that model.
