Does anyone know how to add more icons in Magellan?

I don't think you can, magellan doesn't allow you to do that. I can't on my 3140..

True. You can, however, select from a list when using the POI Editor. You just can't add any of your own.

I'm sure there is a way to hack extra icons into the device, but currently I have not attempted it. There is no official way as far as I know.

Yes, I was able to download my POIs to my Magellen. Yes, I followed the directions to name the bmp file the same as the mgln file, "Starbucks." But, the lousy POI editor, version 4.0.2.0, I believe, does NOT allow me to add the Starbucks icon. Nothing works. Anyone got any ideas? What am I missing in my procedure?
