Some POI's don't load...

How is it that not all my poi's are loaded into my Nuvi 360 when I do a downoad on them? I "verify" each one. I manually move the file to the Nuvi hard drive, then load again, and it seems to be fine in most cases. What's up with that?

Some Questions

So that we can better figure things out, can you clarify:
1.) Were the POI files downloaded from the POI Factory?
2.) Did you download the files to your computer or the 360 as you said?
3.) Did you use POI Loader to load the POI files onto the GPS unit?
4.) Did you load to the Nuvi or to the card.
5.) What do you mean when you say you "verify" them?
6.) What file are you manually moving to the Nuvi HD, and from and to what folder
7.) What do you mean when you say you "load again"?
8.) How are you trying to view the POI's that you tried to load?

Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.

Are you talking about the entire file missing, or just part?

If the latter, the file is there, you just can't see all of it at once. It only shows
those closest to your current location.

If the entire file is missing, how do you manually move the files - are you using the POI loader? It sounds like you're making your life more complicated than it need be. Let the software do the work for you.

Thanks for your reply...

1, yes
2, computer file folder POI" first, then 360 w/loader.
3,yes
4, Nuvi
5, POI verifier 1_0_1_4
6, downloading the file to my POI folder, then loading to NUVI from there.
7,I load to the POI folder, manually move the file to my Nuvi, then load as usual, just to be safe.
8, After loading to my Nuvi, I turn on my 360 to check to see if they are actually there.

It's not that important that some I load are there, I found out that I was loading many I really did not need, as they came loaded into my 360 as standard POI's. I'm just haveing a lot of fun doing this.
