Can I delete other languages from my Nuvi?

 

As I was browsing through the language folder of my Nuvi 350 - there's a number of languages that I will never use.
Do you know if there's any harm in deleting some of those files? E.g. - I will only use American English - Jack and Jill. Can I delete other languages like Australian English, British English etc?

Yes.

It's advisable to backup your entire unit to your computer before manipulating any files.

Be sure you know exactly which files you are deleting.

Don't do anything to the .IMG files as these are your maps.

Yeah, just delete the files in the language folder and you should be okay!

Not possible on the c330 since it doesn't display itself to the computer as a USB Mass Storage device and as noted in other threads, the internal files are not accessible.

I remember the first time that I ever had a computer - deleted all the .dll files to cleanup my system smile

That sounds like some of the cafeteria ladies that I deal with. Great people who understand serving, but not computers.
