VA GPSr users - Dinner?

Just wondered if anyone would be interested in organizing a meet with all VA (or anyone else) GPSr users. We could meet at a well known public restaurant (such as Outback) and have dinner at a location that is central to everyone. It would be fun to go somewhere that no one has been too (but can be verified). It would give us something to talk about during dinner, how we did/didn't get lost. Just a thought.

Richmond, NOVA, Charlottesville are probably the best areas. Since they either have a lot of members from here or are central to everyone.

Any takers?

Good idea

Hey, Asianfire:
It's good idea. If I was near Richamond area, I would take up your offer. Unfortunately, I'm about 6 hours away.

hey that is a good road trip

hey that is a good road trip and depending where (if it happens) we meet, it could be closer to you.

Fred Vegas...

Since I consider myself a Virginian (always)..I would say Fredvegas is a great place..not sure of the food tastes of the group but you MUST..absolutely MUST go to Carls Ice cream...Old fashioned and well worth the wait!

BTW the 32nd Annual VA Frisbee Championships are happening on April 11-13..Some of the best in the world and in the history of the sport will be at Pratt Park all weekend! Bring the kids and the Family...I have attended this tournament for 28 years now and I just booked my ticket back home!!!

It's those changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes nothing remains quite the same. With all of our running and all of our cunning, If we couldn't laugh, we would all go insane.

Carl's

Carl's is one of the few Favorites (not CSV) POIs in my GPSr!

And Sammy Ts is a Veggie place….its more downtown…I also remember a good BBQ place down the road from the College but my memory is not so good today…LOL But Carls is always on my brain!!

Non-VA GPSr

Well, I'm not a VA GPSr, but I am an East Tennessee GPSr. My wife and I are planning a few weekend trips to VA to visit wineries and such this year. Maybe we can incorporate a dinner into one of our trips.

In May we'll be in Western and Central VA, and then again in August we'll be in more of the Central area.

Go Lady VOLS!!! 8 time Women's NCAA Champions.
