Do a search and there is
Do a search and there is tons of info on this, but in short...
1) Load all POIs, this creates a poi.gpi file
Each time you load it, it will overwrite the previous one
2) This is how I do it, load one set of POIs and then rename the poi.gpi file to "Restaurants.gpi" (or whatever you want) and then load the next set.

Charley's way is also my method, but MM never recommends that because evidently not all units allow that (her Zumo for instance). So, if renaming doesn't work for you, you now know why. And then you must do the one big file thing.

I didn't know that, I thought all units would let you do that as long as you can see the unit as "Mass Storage Device".

I was trying to find the post where she said this, and when I finally found it, I saw that you had already found it and posted a question about it -- only 3 minutes after this post.

On the Zumo, when you rename the GPI files, you lose all the categories for your POIs. This is one reason why I don't use it because the categories are important to me.
My input to the OP, however, it that you don't ever have to load one big file. You can always keep your individual files and load all of them (or whichever of them you want). All the POI files you load will all be incorporated into a single POI.GPI file as asisanfire has indicated.
