SD card ?

I have a Garmin streetpilot c330. It accepts custom POI's. When I put the POI's on the GPS I can see them, But they are not visible on the SD card rolleyes . Does it save to the Garmins Internal memory, or the SD card? The Garmin's Internal memoryis 2mb which as some of you know that is only 20,000 points(small). When I save the Poi's to the SD card they aren't visible .I want to be able to save as many POI's as i want. How can I do this

You can only use the SD Card to load maps to the C330.

You'd think but your

You'd think but your computer won't recognize it as a mass storage device (i think). You can still use the slot for other maps, and you can change that boring garmin start page, and load poi directly to unit. Thats about it. All info to do these things is on this website. Wife has same unit. Works well enuff.

you say you can change the start page?how do you do that?i cant find out how...thanks

The 330...

is quite old on the GPS technology scale. The new units all act the same as an external memory storage device when connected to the computer, but many of the older ones didn't have that capability, the c330 being one of those.
