Getting Traffic On Nuvi-660

I'm a fairly new owner of a Nuvi-660.

I know that the 660 has a Garmin FM-Traffic Receiver available for it, but does anyone know whether the traffic info from MSN Direct can by any means be made to work on a 660? I know that it's made to go with the Nuvi-680, and that the MSN Direct's cord plugs into the 680.

Even though MSN Direct comes w/ the 680 (which I don't have), can it be plugged into the 660 any way, and if so... will it actually work??? MSN Direct will give weather, gas-prices, & movie-times, and it appears that the Garmin FM-Traffic wont give you these things.

According to the Garmin web

According to the Garmin web site, no. It will not work with MSN.

Nuvi 660 traffic

The 660 only uses the FM clear channel traffic and is not upward compatable with the msn traffic.

However i can add that the traffic info that is available for the 660 is very good if you live in the covered area.

Where AND HOW MUCH?

Where does one renew the subscription on the nuvi 660 and how much does is cost? I looked at the Garmin website and it's all very cryptic in the details.

Does any one know which

Does any one know which big-name stores carry this Traffic-Receiver for the Nuvi-660... Circuit-City, Target, Car-Toys, etc?

Didja lose your power cord?

The Nuvi 660 default power cord contains the power AND the traffic receiver in one package. While I don't know if the "big box" stores carry a stand-alone cord/traffic receiver for the 660, you can go to a number of online sources: By Owner Electronics (http://byownerelectronics.com/), Anchor Express (http://www.anchorexpress.com/) to name two.
