Here is what Navigon says to expect.
What are the improvements of the NAVIGON Update (release 1.1)?
· Easier point of interest (POI) Searches
o Revamped POI proximity searches provide improved ability to search for a POI near an entered address or destination
o Larger search radius for Nearby POI searches
· Improved U-Turn Logic and Voice Guidance
o New U-Turn logic reduces the number of U-turn prompts given by the unit
o Updated turn prompts express the distance to the next maneuver in feet instead of miles, making it easier to understand
· Text-to-Speech (TTS) Enhancements
o Speech guidance given for all streets regardless of distance from current position
o Better articulation of non-standard street names
· User Interface Improvements
o Revised text strings for a variety of menus
o Enhanced stability when saving user settings
o Direct access POIs are updated when restoring factory default settings
· Improved Bluetooth® Stability for the NAVIGON 7100
· Better Handling of Time Zones in Canada for more accurate expected time of arrival (ETA) information.

This is good information as I have had my eye on this model but still pondering as I have read a lot of exerpts from navigon users both positive and negative and the responses about this unit are pretty much consistent by all so I am glad to hear that improvements, updates, etc are forth coming.

Navigon Update and Poi Warner
Please advise if the update of Navigon 2100 didn't bring any problems to the Poi-warner functioning. I've read that it can cause problems to traffic feature ( wich I don't have yet). Any help will be appreciated.

I think you have to reinstall POI warner after doing the update.
I don't use POI warner on mine but it did not effect traffic. Traffic has always worked well on mine. The update did help the items as shown above.
Update & POI-WARNER
The Only Problem found with update was, you need to reinstall POI-Warner afterwards. Thats all to report.
So make a Backup of your pois directory before you do the upgrade, then reinstall POI_Warner and copy the backup data to the pois directory on the Card.

Update & POI-WARNER
Thanks for advice! I didn't even think about backing up the POIs.
KeyPad
I really wish Navigon would update the keypads - the keys are just way to small to use while on the road, even parked...
Using regular pencil for keypad
I found that using regular pencil with eraser pretty much solves the problem, especially if you need to enter info on a keypad. Use the eraser part to push buttons. I have touch screen protector on mine so I can even use the stylus.
