This project was originally started by Robert660. He has been sick and has asked me to pass it along to ww4cash to update.

Badwater Basin is 282 feet below sea level. There are bathrooms there, and a large deck like might be on the back of a house, that goes out over the salt and water. Turn around and face the mountain, and you will see a sign 282 feet up, that says Sea Level. If you go to the restaurant, be willing to wait a little while for the food. If you drive around and up to Dante's View, you will be about a mile over Death Valley and almost directly above Badwater Basin. The ride to Dante's View is a nice one on a motorcycle.
