Garmin c550 from Amazon

Purchased a Garmin c550 for my wife from Amazon. It arrived last week. First of all the inside of the Garmin Box was torn and then the plastic ring that holds the tip and fuse in the traffic receiver/dc input was broken. - OK Stuff happends, sent it back to Amazon for replacement and this week Garmin c550 number 2 arrives and "First of all the inside of the Garmin Box was torn and then the plastic ring that holds the tip and fuse in the traffic receiver/dc input was broken."
Not the same one I returned the returns go to Lexington, KY and new comes from Irving, TX. I am sending it back today.
Don't know if it is an Amazon or Garmin problem. I would be purchasing a c550 from Amazon until someone gets to the root of the problem. I'll post again after number 3 arrives.
I told Amazon I'd be glad to go over to Irving and check the box to make sure # 3 was operational before they ship.

I have received a couple Garmin units, c550 and a c580 in the mail and they arrived ok. The c580 was shipped from new york in the garmin factory box inside a box about 3-4 inches bigger - WITH NO OTHER packaging. I was a little concerned, but it has worked great with no damage.

I have ordered 3 Garmin GPS units (c340) from Amazon and they and the packaging all arrived intact.
