Duplicate POI's

I was wondering, if I load a POI file for a group of points that are all ready in the unit's preloaded database, I will get duplicate POIs for that group. So is there anywhere we can get a list of what POI's are all ready preloaded in our Nuvi's??

But if you have MapSource you can see all 6000,000 of them in the map.

Duplicate POIs
On the 750 I get home, home 1, etc. Very annoying and very old school programming. This is for my own POIs.

You just put your own bmp icons when you load your POI and you will know witch is witch ....

Can't you just go to Where
Can't you just go to Where to, Favorites, click on the one you want to click on, it edit, then hit delete?
That's what I have done, but there may be an easier way.

I have also done this. Seems the most simple way.
