You say you want voice recognition? Cruise over to www.gpslodge.com and check out the latest from Garmin. This now rivals my on-board Honda system!
Enjoy........... Joel
I don't really like the look
I don't really like the look of it. But the new features will be great at a high price I'm sure.
Well here you go. The 880
Well here you go. The 880 has a suggested price of $1071.41 USD and the 850 can be had for the nominal fee of $857.13. Run right out there and pick one up!!!
I wonder how good it will be
I know that my cell phone isn't THAT great at voice recognition. I will say "Mom" and it asks me "Do you want to call Sarah?"
I can see a real problem when it comes to cars as well, with all the background noise and you mouth isn't as close to it as a cell phone. But we shall see.

We'll see
You are right about all the background noise in a vehicle (road noise - people talking). My Honda does pretty good recognizing commands, but at high speed, it usually comes back with "please repeat the command", and I almost have to shout the command to have it complied with. I only get to shout once, then my wife says "shut up and push the right button!!"...........
