Ok I am going to give you advance notice that this post is going to be emotional and very loving to the people that I am honoring.
With this Contributor of the week we close on the year 2007, so I am doing a special recognition post to two very special and very important people within our community.
When Jon and I started working on this site we never imagined that we would get the level of support from the community that we have received, you guys as a whole rock!!! You have helped us realize a dream of building one of the best sites out there for GPS users.
The two members that are being recognized have been with us since the beginning and have given more to this community then I ever dreamed possible.
I am sure that most of you have already figured out that I am speaking about Motorcycle Mama & Retiredtechnician.
The two of you are amazing people, who have become dear friends to Jon and I. I truly do not know what this site would be like without you guys as a part of it.
MM, if it were not for your tech support to thousands of users we would not have had the time to make the other site improvements and keep up with the other parts of the site. The extensive GPS knowledge that you have blows my mind.
RT, What would our POI Files look like without POI Verifier? I could only imagine what a time consuming mess we would have had on our hands trying to make the files as clean as they are with your program. The time and energy that you put into guiding people in the right direction really shows how much you love this community.
There are truly no words to express how much these two individuals mean to us and how much we appreciate the support and help that they have given us in our first year here at POI Factory.
You are not just contributors of the week, you are the contributors of the year!!! As our community grows and becomes bigger it will be harder to recognize outstanding contributors like we can this year so this may be the only Contributor of the year post. You two deserve this honor, I am sorry that it does not come with an icon or a badge.
I know that the two of you know how much you are cherished by this community.

And I want to end by extending my congratulations and thanks to RT for all the great input you give, and all the work put into the POI Verifier program that has helped so many people. It does not go unnoticed and is greatly appreciated.

But where would we be without JM and Miss POI? No POIs, no forums, no awards; in fact, no site. You two are the greatest. As I said before, and I sincerely mean it, 'this site is hands-down the best GPS site going'.
