Routes

Is there a Garmin product the will accept routes with waypoints? If not Garmin any other brands? Pretty much committed to Garmin but numerous stops are now being uploaded to favorites which works but is somewhat cumbersome.

Zümo & Nüvi 7xx ranges are answers that immediately spring to mind. Poking around the Garmin website, I see that products like the Quest/Quest 2, & Streetpilots 7200, 7500 & 2820 are all still listed as current. They all claim to support up to 50 stored routes ... but at quite a price.

Forgive the intrusion, Phil, but the Nuvi 7XX series is only capable of 10 routes. The 11th route removes the first route. The Nuvi 750 routes very well by building routes in Mapsource, or directly on the unit.

The Etrex Line will also Accept routes with multiple Waypoints. I have used mine for that many times. That is one reason I will never get rid of the Etrex even with the Nuvi. The Etrex is also perfect for the Motorcycle and Geocacheing

I knew what I meant, even if no-one else did smile
