Just kidding..the SD card can be used to add more maps that Dont fit onto the unit. that is about it......I am sure there it a Post here that tells exactly how to load the entire North America onto the unit. Only the USA fits onto the unit..but there is a way to copy the rest onto an SD card..Search SD or 340 and 330
Actually, My C340 came with the FULL 2008 maps already preloaded, so I think it will all fit, but if I remember, from another post I was, it has to be loaded a certain way for it all to fit.
