I was rather disappointed in my garmin nuvi 200 today. I was out of town and had to find a store and found it listed in the POI, but when I navigated to it, Garmin placed me in the middle of a residential neighborhood 7 miles away from the destination. While the POI record had the correct address, it didn't take me to that address (not even the correct street), so I am assuming the POI files have co ordinates to route to.
I entered the address for routing and it took me straight to the store.
My lesson learned, look at the map after the outing has been calculated for a reality check and if it looks off, enter the address directly.
